What does 4th Street actually do?
We build and fully manage websites for founder-led service businesses in Minnesota. Every site is built on Framer, structured from day one to show up in search and in AI, and we host and maintain it so it stays fast and findable.
How long does a new site take to build?
Core sites are typically live in 1 to 2 weeks. Standard takes about 2 weeks. Premium runs 2 to 3 weeks. Custom projects are scoped individually. The timeline depends on how quickly we get content and approvals from you, which is usually the longer part.
How much does it cost?
There are four tiers. Core is $1,500 setup plus $300 a month. Standard is $2,500 plus $450. Premium is $3,500 plus $650. Custom starts at $4,500 and is scoped per project. Every tier has a 6-month minimum and includes hosting and ongoing management.
What's included in the monthly retainer?
Hosting on Framer, a monthly site audit and bug fixes, Google Business Profile posting, and a performance report. Higher tiers add content updates, lead tracking, and ongoing GEO and SEO work. The retainer is what keeps your site fast, current, and findable after launch.
Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
There is a 6-month minimum on all tiers, to ensure the best possible experience. After that, your retainer renews quarter by quarter, and you can revisit your tier at any review.
What does "GEO-ready" mean?
GEO stands for generative engine optimization. It means your site is structured so AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google Gemini can find it, read it, and cite it when someone asks a relevant question. Every site we build has this built in from day one.
Can you migrate my existing site?
Yes. If you're on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or something else, we can migrate you to Framer. Migration is priced as development time, typically $1,000 to $2,000 depending on what we're working from. After that, you're on the same retainer structure as a new build.
Do you work with businesses outside Minnesota?
Yes. We prioritize Minnesota businesses because we can meet in person and we know the market well, but we work with clients outside the state too. If you're not local, reach out and we'll figure out if it's a good fit.
Do you do paid ads or just websites?
Primarily websites and the ongoing work that makes them more findable. We do offer Google Ads and Local Services Ads management as add-ons, but we won't recommend them until your site is in good enough shape to convert the traffic.
Do I own my website?
Yes. The site we build is yours. Hosting and management are part of your retainer, but if you ever decide to leave, you keep the website and your content. We don't hold your site hostage to keep you on a plan.
